SKIE encourages the use of its data, publications and multimedia products (sound, image, software, etc.) presented herein (collectively, the “Material”), for informational purposes only. All contents on this website are protected by copyright.

What can you do with SKIE published content (data, text and multimedia products)?
You can copy, download or print content for your own use, and you can also include excerpts from SKIE publications, databases and multimedia products in your own documents, presentations, blogs, websites and teaching materials, provided that suitable acknowledgment of SKIE as source and copyright owner is given. You should cite the Title of the material, © SKIE, publication year (if available) and page number or URL (uniform resource locator) as applicable.

In order to promote its work, and because Internet is about linking, SKIE encourages a User who maintains an external website to include hyperlinks to skie.snu.ac.kr, to any of its satellite website(s) or to any of their pages (collectively “the SKIE website(s)”), on that external site without having to ask prior permission under the following conditions:

These hyperlinks must not:
•infringe SKIE’s rights, in particular relating to its logo, acronym and intellectual property rights;
•be used for the promotion of an Organisation or company, or of any commercial products or services.
As a consequence,

Privacy Policy

Privacy Protection
This policy establishes how we handle the information we learn about you when you visit the main SKIE website (skie.snu.ac.kr), any of its satellite website(s) or any of their pages (collectively “the SKIE website(s)”). Protecting the privacy and personal data of our visitors is of utmost importance to us. Protecting your privacy and your personal data is an important aspect of the way we create, organise and implement our activities on-line and off-line. The SKIE website(s) follow(s) the principles set out in the Recommendation of the Council concerning Guidelines Governing the Protection of Privacy and Transborder Flows of Personal Data (C(80)58/FINAL).

Purpose Specifications and Data Collection
In general, you can browse the SKIE website(s) with logging in the SKIE website(s). If you visit the SKIE website(s) to read or download information, we collect and store only the following information that is automatically recognised: the date and time, the originating IP address, the domain name, the type of browser and operating system used (if provided by the browser), the URL of the referring page (if provided by the browser), the object requested and the completion status of the request.

The SKIE has implemented technologies and security policies to protect the stored personal data of our users from unauthorised access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss. We will continue to enhance our security procedures, as new technology becomes available. SKIE employees and processors who have access to personal data are obliged to respect the privacy of our visitors and the confidentiality of their personal data.

As the SKIE creates new services that may generate a need to amend this privacy statement, the SKIE will highlight such changes on theSKIE website home page.
